Colin started with Rural Directions on July 1 as an agribusiness consultant.
What does your role mean (in a nutshell):
My technical specialty is viticulture, which is a new ‘string to the bow’ for Rural Directions. As well as providing viticulture advisory services to grape growers and winemakers, I will be working with a broad range of farmers and industry groups, providing technical, project and management know-how. I also look forward to having a crack at some industry projects when the opportunity presents.
Favourite food:
My go-to pub/bistro meal is lamb shanks, after that, anything I can cook on the barbeque, from t-bone to salmon.
Do you know anyone famous?
A couple of years ago I hosted Adam Spencer (radio presenter/sleek geek) for a vineyard tour at vintage. Was a bit of a fanboy moment.
What one item in the kitchen best describes you and your personality?

It has to be Khe Sanh by Cold Chisel
Ultimate travel destination:
I’ve had two short work-related trips to Europe - I definitely want to go back and explore much more!
What’s your favourite beauty secret?
Get enough sleep, clearly I suffer from insomnia!
